Made a bit of progress this week - the roof box is bonded completely and the replacement A-pillar trim pieces and windshield have been installed. The bracing you see in the first photos is used to lift up the roof area of the underbody while the windshield adhesive sets. Believe it or not, the windshield on these cars is a structural component, so some support while installing them will help to prevent future water leaks. The windshield reveals are currently at the powdercoater for a more permanent finish than the typical paint that they have on them. The quarter panel is back on and we will be ready to re-hang the doors after the holiday weekend. I'm ready to be reunited! Like what you read?
