There is a great local business called the Game Preserve that caters to the retro gamer in all of us. What is it? An arcade that has an entry fee, so all of the games and pinball machines are set to free play. That's right - you get to spend as much time there as you like and play as many games as you like - no quarters required! And it's got the perfect atmosphere - darkly tinted windows, black lighting, a disco ball, and a jukebox full of all the best hits that you need to fuel your high scores. There is a sitting area for parents that may not want to participate, or people who just need some downtime, and a few snacks for sale. One of the Preserve's owners, Rusty, is also a DeLorean owner, so we have all gotten to know each other well. James and I took Jim here for one last weekend outing before we leave for Japan, and we had an awesome time. All of the machines are well-maintained and you can easily spend three to four hours playing through all of the games. It can also be rented out for parties and events. Check out their website here and Facebook page here!
